Terms of Service
These terms govern all transactions, material sourcing, and commercial engagements with Bharat Enterprises. By placing an inquiry or order, you agree to these terms in full.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Bharat Enterprises platform, submitting an inquiry, or engaging in any transaction, you unconditionally accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Buyer" or "Seller") and Bharat Enterprises, a proprietary firm registered under the laws of India. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of our services.
Bharat Enterprises reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Scrap Quality & Grading
All materials transacted through Bharat Enterprises are graded in accordance with applicable Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications. Sellers are responsible for accurately representing material grade at the time of listing.
Ferrous Materials
Graded per BIS IS 2549 specifications. Includes MS scrap, cast iron, structural steel, and alloy steel grades.
IS 2549Non-Ferrous Materials
Graded per BIS IS 2305 specifications. Includes copper, aluminium, brass, bronze, zinc, and lead scrap.
IS 2305Bharat Enterprises reserves the right to conduct independent quality assessment prior to finalising any transaction. Materials found to be misrepresented will be rejected or revalued accordingly, with any cost differential borne by the seller.
Contaminated, hazardous, or radioactive materials are strictly prohibited on the platform and subject to immediate rejection and reporting to regulatory authorities.
Weight Verification
All material weights are determined using calibrated weighbridges certified under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009. Weight slips issued by Bharat Enterprises are the final basis for invoicing.
Tolerance Standard
An accepted tolerance of ±0.5% applies to all measurements. Disputes outside this tolerance range will be re-weighed in the presence of both parties.
Digital Weight Slip
A digitally signed weight slip is issued for every transaction, containing timestamp, vehicle number, tare/gross weight, and material category.
Weight disputes must be raised within 24 hours of material receipt. Disputes raised after this window will not be entertained except in exceptional circumstances at Bharat Enterprises' sole discretion.
Payment Terms & GST
All transactions are conducted in Indian Rupees (INR). Payment is due within the timeline specified on the invoice. Late payments attract a penalty of 2% per month on outstanding amounts.
RTGS / NEFT
All payments above ₹2,00,000 must be made via RTGS or NEFT to the designated Bharat Enterprises bank account. Account details are provided on invoice.
GST Compliant
All invoices are GST-compliant under the CGST/SGST/IGST framework. Applicable GST rate of 18% will be added to all transactions.
TDS Deduction
Buyers are required to deduct TDS at the applicable rate under Section 194Q (purchase of goods above ₹50 lakhs threshold) and deposit with the government. TDS certificates must be shared with Bharat Enterprises within 15 days of quarter end.
Acknowledgement
By engaging with Bharat Enterprises, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.
